Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and NOWAY MOBILE OÜ (“we”) for the use of unlayers.com. By using the free demo, buying credits or creating an account you accept them.

1. What Unlayers does

Unlayers converts an image you upload into editable layers using an AI model, lets you edit those layers in the browser and export the result as a PNG. The sample editor is free and needs no account. Converting your own image costs one credit.

2. Credits, plans and packs

• One credit converts one image. Editing, saving and exporting a converted project never cost extra.
• Plans (Starter and Pro) renew monthly or yearly. Plan credits are granted in full at the start of each billing period: every month on monthly plans, all at once on yearly plans. Credits that are unused when the period ends expire; they do not roll over.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases. Pack credits never expire.
• Credits are personal to your account and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
• If a conversion fails, the credit is returned automatically. If the outcome is uncertain, the project is kept for checking rather than charged again.

3. Payment

Payments are taken by Stripe in the currency shown at checkout. Prices include VAT or sales tax where we are required to charge it. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. We may change prices; changes apply from your next billing period and are shown on the site before they take effect.

4. Cancelling and refunds

• You can cancel a plan at any time from “Manage billing”. Access and remaining plan credits continue until the end of the paid period; nothing further is charged.
• Because a conversion starts and delivers its result immediately, you agree that a used credit is not refundable. For EEA and UK consumers this means you ask us to start the service right away and waive the 14-day withdrawal right for credits you have used.
• Unused credits from a purchase made in the last 14 days are refunded on request. Write to support@unlayers.com with your checkout email.
• If a conversion result is clearly unusable, tell us within 14 days and we will return the credit or refund it.

5. Your images and the results

• You keep all rights to the images you upload and to what you make with Unlayers. You give us only the permission needed to store, convert, display and export them for you, including sending them to our processing provider.
• You confirm that you have the right to use the images you upload and that they do not break any law or anyone’s rights.
• Results come from an AI model: layer quality varies with the image, fonts are matched approximately and overlapping details may need manual adjustment. Check results before using them commercially.

6. Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, sexual or hateful content, images of people used to deceive, or other people’s work you are not allowed to edit. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or share one account between many people. We may suspend accounts that break these rules and, where the breach is serious, keep any credits that remain.

7. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. A purchase made without an account creates a guest account on the device used; set a password or sign in with the same email to reach it elsewhere. Ownership of an email address is proven by a sign-in code or Google sign-in; purchases are only joined to a verified address.

8. Availability and liability

We aim to keep Unlayers available and your projects stored, but the service is provided “as is”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for consumers’ statutory rights.

9. Changes and ending the service

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version and material changes are announced on the site. We may close the service with at least 30 days’ notice and will refund unused pack credits and the unused part of a yearly plan if we do.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in its courts. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
